R3 Viewing Party!
[It’s another average, but boring morning in the mansion when suddenly voices start coming from Rod’s room again. Thankfully, the room is locked and it appears that he isn’t trapped inside his own body (luckily for everyone it appears that Oswald finished Rod’s new body so that most likely won’t happen again).
However, true to the Hatbox Ghost’s word, it seems like the new round has started and everyone in the Haunted Mansion has a front row seat to watching the torture unfold. This time you are no longer in the comfort of someone who has any idea of how to get them out.
… There sure are a lot of people you might recognize this time around, huh?]

Josh, Josh...it's...well, not okay, but don't bring the roof down on the rest of us.
no subject
He takes a breath, and the ceiling at least stops shaking, but Joshua still doesn't appear entirely okay.]
I'm... going outside for a moment.
[He stands up, and proceeds to walk out of the room with a considerable amount of restraint.
... It isn't very long however before you'll suddenly hear an almighty crash, and looking will discover what appears to be pieces of furniture being violently sent careening outside onto the lawn. At... least it's not the building being brought down instead?]

Being in love must suck. [she's gonna be a witch nun.]

Tadashi's left awkwardly standing in front of the TV, torn between going after Joshua and staying inside, but his not-boyfriend will run out of furniture eventually, so he's going to go find him.]
no subject
Also he's sitting on a corner of a roof that's still safe enough to support him, so he's probably not even going to notice Tadashi or anyone else until they're blocking his line of sight of destroyed furniture, or speaking to him.]
no subject
Tadashi just watches once he finds Joshua and also a safe place to stand that isn't in the line of fire.]
There you are. I'm...sorry for kicking you out.
[He didn't, really, but he feels like he did.]
no subject
... Hm. To be fair, I don't think Rod would have appreciated anymore destruction happening to the room he stays in.
[There's a pause before the object Joshua had precariously floating for another toss just drops back down rather unceremoniously, before some pieces of wood move over to form steps next to the spot Josh is sitting. An unspoken offer to join him here if you want.]
no subject
He's taking that offer, carefully making his way up those steps and equally carefully settling beside Josh.]
I like to think he'd understand a little bit.
[Then again, robot.]
I can't criticize you for your reaction...if I was in your position, I probably would've thrown a chair through the TV right away.
no subject
[... And maybe then he'll destroy some more stuff before passing out for a week from letting so much energy go to waste.]
no subject
[Maybe.]
We'll just have to wait for the trial. Unless one of us figures out a way to get to where they are in the next hour or so.

suddenly I'm just imagining Hades or someone else showing up like "you rang????" :)Joshua says nothing to that, and for a moment it's quiet.
... Until he starts picking up some of the furniture with his mind again to toss against the ground because god damnit he's supposed to be omniscient but he has no idea where the third game is or where in the underworld Neku might be now--
... He also may have said some of that out loud too but he's too annoyed to even notice.]
no subject
Tadashi's surprised Hades hasn't already tracked them down just because he's there. He can't quite think of anything to fill the silence, so he's also quiet, watching as Joshua returns to his demolition. There's nothing he feels he can say; Joshua's calmed down and has an outlet for his frustrations and isn't really a kid or Hiro, so humor won't really help the situation.
Joshua's not-so-internal musings don't really help aside from keeping the silence from becoming completely unbearable, until Tadashi decides to say something.]
...You know, I'm starting to wonder if some sort of blood ritual might actually help us out. Since we've hit a dead end with our other option and that's the only other thing anyone's suggested.
[He never thought he'd find himself agreeing with Marnie on something like that, really.]

[...]
I told Rod that I knew a little about magic involving dreams, but the only person I could see myself being able to successfully reach if tried was Neku, due to...
[A pause, before he frowns.]
Well, Neku's soul--or whatever amount of him was actually brought here--it doesn't matter now, the point is he's considered dead again at the moment. [... Because that sentence totally makes sense to say.] So instead, I suppose I could try to contact or at least get an idea of where this Mickey is, if he really is out there looking for us.
no subject
[Or at least somehow connected, in their case. It makes a fair amount of sense.]
I think you should try...or I'd like you to try. Either Mickey or one of the ones still in the game, if you can get through to one of them. Save the tacky solutions until the very end.
no subject
[Also maybe because Neku may or may not have been brought here from Traverse Town while having been held together with the equivalent of our dreams and some soul duct-tape... I mean--]
... Alright. After the trial, I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
no subject
Awesome, thanks.
[What's Josh's opinion on hugs? Hopefully he's not averse to them, because Tadashi's going to lean over and wrap his arms around his shoulders.]
no subject
He doesn't move to reciprocate, but at the same, he's not pulling away either...]
no subject
Heh...I didn't mean to startle you.
no subject
[You totally did.
There's a bit of silence here, before Joshua speaks again.]
... Thank you. I appreciated that.
